Gold Vermeil - Gold Vermeil is resilient

  • Gentle Cleaning: Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials to prevent scratching.
  • Storage: Store in a soft pouch or jewellery box to protect from scratches and tarnish. Keep separate from other metals.
  • Polishing: Use a gold-specific polishing cloth sparingly to restore shine, but don’t overdo it.
  • Remove Before Activities: Take off your jewellery before swimming, exercising, or showering.

Gold Plated - Gold Plated is delicate

  • Keep It Dry: Avoid water, sweat, and chemicals like perfumes, lotions, and cleaning sprays to preserve the finish.
  • Handle with Care: Gently clean your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove oils and keep it sparkling. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes.
  • Store Smart: Place your pieces in a soft pouch, jewellery box, or anti-tarnish bag. Store them separately to prevent scratches and fading.
  • Limit Exposure: Remove your jewellery before swimming, exercising, or handling household chores.
  • Polish Sparingly: If needed, use a gentle polishing cloth for a light touch-up, but don’t over-polish to protect the plating.

Gold Filled - Gold filled is durable

  • Clean Gently: Use a clean cloth to wipe your jewellery down. Make sure the cloth you're using is a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth. Ensure the cloth is not wet or has any moisture on it. 
  • Store Properly: Ensure jewellery is stored in a cool dry place, directly out of sunlight and away from heat. 
  • Limit wear: Do not wear Gold-plated brass jewellery daily. Limit the amount of wear you and reserve items for special occasions. 
  • Avoid Abrasive Surfaces: Do not polish with harsh cleaners, abrasive cloths, or chemicals, as these can strip the gold layer.
